About the event

This class will focus on:

a) The art of giving and receiving feedback is something all beginner (and professional) authors need to master. One of the most productive long-term supports for your writing is forming/joining a writing group and, subsequently, perfecting the art of offering and incorporating suggested edits. This will prepare you beautifully to maximise the upcoming relationship with an agent and editor.

b) The art of editing is very specific skill to master - entirely different from the glorious creative splurge of the first draft, but absolutely as essential when it comes to perfecting your writing. Once you've learnt both, then the world is your oyster and the page your playground!
