About the event
Sunday January 24th 2pm-5pm
Writing Crime with Emily Winslow
From gentle cozies to heart-pounding thrillers, starring police, private detectives, or amateurs caught up in situations that have taken them by surprise, crime is a genre that keeps readers turning pages. This class will ready you to start putting your own mystery on the page, or to get through the difficult middle of the novel you’ve already started.
Sunday February 28th 2pm-5pm
Exploring Publishing with Emily Winslow
Approaching publishing can feel overwhelming; this class will help you find clarity. Emily will walk you through the options, including how to approach agents and evaluate publishers, what to consider about self-publishing, and how to protect yourself. This class is appropriate for all stages of writing, whether you have a manuscript ready to go, or want to plan ahead. Emily will point you in the right direction.
